Quad Biking Tours
Quad biking is the fastest way to see how big Erg Chebbi really is. The bikes are automatic, a guide rides in front the whole way, and the route is chosen for your group's confidence rather than a fixed track.
Routes and distance
Shorter tours stay on the dunes and flat sand around the camp. Half-day and full-day tours push further out towards the old mining village of Mfis, the nomad wells and the black desert on the way to the Algerian border, with stops for tea.
You ride your own quad. Couples and parents with older children often share one bike, with the adult driving.
