Your stay, step by step

From mint tea to sunrise

Nothing is compulsory. This is simply how most nights unfold.

  1. Arrival and mint tea

    Park beside the camp, drop your bags in your tent and sit down to sweet mint tea and almond biscuits while we run through the evening.

  2. Sunset camel ride

    The caravan leaves for the high dunes with a local handler, stopping on a ridge for the last of the light.

  3. Dinner at the restaurant

    Soup, tagine or couscous, bread baked in the sand, salads and fruit, served in our air-conditioned restaurant.

  4. Fire and Berber music

    Drums, singing and stories around the fire — everyone is invited to play badly and nobody minds.

  5. Stargazing

    We turn the camp lights down. On a clear night the Milky Way is visible with the naked eye.

  6. Sunrise on the dunes

    Walk five minutes up the nearest dune for sunrise, then come back for breakfast before you leave by 11:00.
